Tom started his own insurance agency, Universal Benefit Planning, in 1979 after working as a sales manager for several life insurance companies. While his background was focused on Personal Life Insurance sales, he was introduced to group benefits and began working with self-funded health plans when the concept was still relatively new — group benefits and worksite products have been his focus ever since. Tom joined the eBen team in 2013.
