Mike Norris
(828) 630-7367Mike is a graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He began his career with the Travelers Insurance Company in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1980. He has also worked for First Security Company in Hickory and Gallagher/Sullivan Company in Franklin. Mike has focused on employee benefits with Wayah Insurance Group since 1997.
Mike holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified for Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations. He has served as president of the Western North Carolina chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
An active member of his community, Mike has served as president of the Rotary Club of Franklin, master of Junaluskee Masonic Lodge, and currently serves on the board and executive committee of Vaya Health.
His wife, Dr. Leslie Norris, DNP, specializes in post-acute care and geriatrics/long-term care with Team Health. Mike and Leslie have three children, Russell, Graham, and Rebecca, and six wonderful grandchildren.
